Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases made on ResumeWizard. We've tried to keep it plain and free of small print.

Try the full experience before you pay

Every account starts free, with no card required. You get a complete ATS score check — the real thing, not a teaser — so you can see exactly what ResumeWizard does for your resume before spending anything. We built it this way on purpose: we'd much rather you decide with the product in front of you than take our word for it.

If you're unsure whether a paid plan is right for you, please try the free scan first, or ask us anything — we're happy to help you work out whether it's a good fit before you buy.

No-refund policy

ResumeWizard purchases and renewal charges are non-refundable, except where required by law. There is no timed free trial. Use the available Free plan features to evaluate the service before purchasing. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout. Cancel before your next billing date to stop future renewals; paid access continues until the current period ends. Cancellation does not refund previous charges or unused time.

For billing errors or an unrecognized charge, contact chat support with your account email and payment reference. Do not include card details.

Duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrectly collected charges can still be reported for investigation. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Pro and Career are recurring subscriptions. Pro is billed every 30 days (monthly) or every 90 days (every 3 months); Career is billed every 365 days (yearly). Each plan renews automatically at the end of its billing period and charges the payment method you used at checkout, until you cancel. A coupon applies to your first payment only — renewals are charged at the list price shown on the pricing page. Your billing page always shows the next renewal date, and we email a receipt for every charge.

Renewal charges are not refundable once made, except where required by law. If you don't want to be charged again, cancel before the renewal date shown on your billing page.

How to cancel

Open your billing page and choose Cancel subscription. There is no cancellation fee and nothing to email us about. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep every included feature until the date shown on your billing page, you are not charged again, and your account then moves to the Free plan. Because the full period is available to you immediately, unused time is not normally refunded on a pro-rata basis. Changed your mind? You can resume the subscription from the same page at any time before it ends.

Starter access (retired)

The Starter pack is no longer sold. Accounts that bought it keep unlimited ATS analyses and five resume downloads for the original 90-day period; it does not renew, and unused time or downloads are not normally refundable on a pro-rata basis.
